How Do We Show Children They Are Enough?

My one word for this year is ‘enough’. As I was writing the post about my one word for the year, I pondered how it’s a great word for children as well.  Children need to know that they are enough, just as they are. That nothing they can do, or not do, could make you love them any more or any less than you love them already.  We need to show children they are enough just as they are. Problem or opportunity for growth?

Life presents us with challenge after challenge. Some days I feel strong and resilient in the face of these challenges. Other days knock me down. I’m guessing you have experienced the same. Easter – Full of God’s Love

Many years ago, when I was working on an Easter talk early one morning, my son woke up and came down to see me.  He was obviously reading some of my talk and asking me about it. I must have written something about the hollow Easter eggs being just like Jesus’ empty tomb. He said he liked the ‘hollow eggs that were full of God’s love!’.
